Nisga'a Memorial Lava Bed Provincial Park

The Nisgaa Memorial Lava Bed Park is located about 80 km north along Kalum Lake Road. About 300 years ago, Canadas youngest volcano erupted and resulted in damming lakes, shifting rivers and killing 2,000 Nisgaa people.

Old Copper City

Old Remo Limestone Fossil Beds

Containing fossils over 250 million years old, the Old Remo Limestone Fossil Beds are found 5km out on Old Remo Road in Terrace.

Lakelse Provincial Park & Lakelse Hot Springs

Besides enjoying the camping, fishing & hiking in the mature forests of this park, relax in mineral-rich, warm waters which bubble out of the ground into the nine stone pools just beyond the park headquarters.
