McAbee Fossil Beds
Prospect for over 80 plant species, innumerable insect species, feathers or rare fish samples. Folklore suggests this fossil cache was discovered in the early days of the railroad, eventually being named after a local pioneering family. What will you unearth?

Arrowstone Provincial Park
A wilderness area protecting one of the largest undisturbed valleys in the dry southern interior. Containing large stands of old growth Douglas fir, the park allows hiking in a relatively pristine environment that is remote, yet accessible via major highways. Backcountry camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, photography and hunting opportunities abound in the park.
