Side trip to Cottonwood House Historic Park
- Located 28 km east on Highway 26, with it's log hewn walks and dove-tailed corners, this historic roadhouse was built in 1864-65 to accommodate travellers using the Cariboo Waggon Road en route to the gold fields. Costumed interpreters conduct tours and give cooking and farming demonstrations. Surrey rides and picnic facilities are available.Open daily from May to September. Entry by donation.
